Job description

Human Resources Related:

  1. Assist in the formulation and execution of local HR policies,procedures, and systems;

  2. Responsible for employee recruitment, onboarding, andoffboarding processes;

  3. Manage employee records, attendance, performance reviews, andother basic HR tasks;

  4. Assist with payroll and benefits administration (incollaboration with external service providers);

  5. Maintain good employee relations and foster a positivecorporate culture;

  6. Assist headquarters with preparing and coordinating applicationmaterials for foreign employees’ work permits and employment visas.

Administrative and Government Affairs Coordination:

  1. Handle applications, renewals, and maintenance of variousbusiness licenses, industry permits, environmental clearances, fire safetyapprovals, etc.;

  2. Coordinate with third-party service providers to completelicense processing;

  3. Lead or assist in applying for exemptions from MIDA industriallicenses and other government approvals;

  4. Establish good communication channels with governmentdepartments (local authorities, labor bureau, immigration, customs, etc.);

  5. Organize and archive administrative documents to ensurecompleteness and compliance.

Other Supportive Tasks:

  1. Assist with office setup, procurement, equipment management,and other routine administrative duties;

  2. Support visa and work permit applications for foreignemployees;

  3. Complete other tasks assigned by superiors.


Job requirements


  1. Bachelor’s degree or above,preferably in Human Resource Management, Administration, Law, or relatedfields;

  2. At least 8 years of experience in HR and administrative roles,preferably in manufacturing industries;

  3. Priority given to Malaysian Chinese who can use English astheir primary working language;

  4. Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus for better communication withthe headquarters in China;

  5. Familiarity with Malaysian labor laws, social security systems(EPF, SOCSO), and work permit application processes;

  6. Knowledgeable about government procedures and capable ofhandling business licenses, environmental permits, fire safetycertificates, MIDA-related approvals independently;

  7. Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia for effective communication withlocal government officials;

  8. Fluent in English, able to write emails and reports in English;

  9. Strong learning ability, communication skills, and stresstolerance;

  10. Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple taskssimultaneously.
