ruhlamat has successfully secured its first Electro-Mechanical Brake (EMB) automation project from a leading brake system OEM in China, signaling a major milestone in the company’s brake-by-wire portfolio.
The project features over 30 process stations and is designed to support multiple product variants. Leveraging a modular architecture, the solution enables rapid integration and significantly shortens delivery cycles. The production line has now entered the assembly phase.
This achievement marks a breakthrough in ruhlamat’s brake-by-wire strategy, reinforcing the company’s leadership in intelligent manufacturing for new energy vehicles (NEVs). As braking systems shift from mechanical to fully electronic control, ruhlamat stands at the forefront of this transformation.
Since 2022, ruhlamat has delivered multiple automation lines across steer-by-wire, brake-by-wire, and suspension-by-wire applications, helping global OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers accelerate the development of fully wire-controlled chassis systems. This growing portfolio highlights ruhlamat’s deep technical know-how and system integration expertise.
As a next-generation braking solution, EMB eliminates the need for hydraulic systems and mechanical backups. By enabling faster, more precise, and fully electronic braking, EMB aligns with the industry’s shift toward centralized electrical/electronic (E/E) architecture. It is rapidly emerging as a core technology in NEV chassis development.
ruhlamat offers end-to-end automation capabilities covering all major chassis systems:
· Steering: Automation lines for C-EPS, P-EPS, and R-EPS, including motor units, torque sensors, ECUs, and steering columns.
· Drivetrain: Solutions for clutches, FDUs, transmissions, couplings, drive shafts, differentials, and axle modules.
· Suspension: Proven experience in air springs, magnetic dampers, continuously controlled dampers (CDC), and subframe modules.
As the automotive industry advances toward software-defined vehicles and smart mobility, ruhlamat remains committed to innovation in intelligent manufacturing. Backed by modular platforms and a global service network, the company is helping drive the industrialization of wire-controlled technologies worldwide.
